Interesting Fact: To get the most used words in a language, linguists used something called corpus.
A corpus is a collection of texts (plays, film scripts, press releases, essays, transcripts of radio or television news, transcripts of conversations, and speeches).
The series of verbs given above was created with the help of CORPES XXI, the most current corpus available in the Spanish language. Actually, it was last updated in September 2020.

Learn to Use Common Irregular Verbs in Spanish
Think of verbs as vocabulary you want to learn. When you learn a new word, it is very important that you learn its meaning, spelling, pronunciation, and use.
To learn vocabulary, I like to use Anki, a program that helps you remember things easily. It is free when you use it on an Android phone or a computer. Anki lets you create “decks.” A deck is a group of flashcards that you can review anytime.

I created a deck with the 25 most used irregular verbs in Spanish to help you learn them efficiently. If you want to try Anki out, you will need to:
- download Anki to your phone or if you prefer to use your computer, download Anki to your computer;
- download the Anki deck I created;
- open Anki, and click on “import file”;
- finally, choose my Anki deck and start studying it.
